Terms and Conditions
All payments are accepted through PayPal, cash or cheque supported with banker’s card.
Portrait and General Bookings
Copyright is limited to Hawthorn Digital Photography, and all sittings will remain so. A DVD /CD Rom can be purchased at an additional fee for customers to print off their own photographs for their sole and private use.
Wedding Photography
All details of wedding coverage will be planned in advance consultation with the couple.
All packages can be customised to suit individual requirements – within the limitations of photography and price.
Payment
A booking fee of 50% will be required at the time of booking. The booking fee will be deducted from the total cost of the wedding price then the balance will become payable four weeks prior to the event, or the full price within four weeks of the event in any case.
The booking fee is not refundable in the event of cancellation. You are requested to take separate wedding cancellation insurance out in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
Right of usage. Hawthorn Digital Photography reserves the right to use photographs taken on the day for promotional materials and advertising products.
Liability is restricted to reasonable care and diligence, where photographs are not taken due to conditions or circumstances beyond all parties control.
Every care is taken in photographing and processing using professional materials. In the unlikely event of total photographic failure i.e. during exposure or processing, the photographer's liability shall be limited to a full refund of all money paid. Neither party shall be liable for indirect consequential loss. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Copyright
The copyright of all the photographs produced is retained by Steve Shawcross t/as Hawthorn digital Photography and it is a criminal offence to make copies from them by any means including video under the terms of the COPYRIGHT,DESIGN and PATENT ACTS 1988. Original files remain the property of the photographer, unless sole ownership is signed over to the buyer.
Clients can however, reprint from a high resolution DVD / CD supplied as part of the package for their private use but not under any circumstances for commercial purposes
